How to enrol at our school

We know that choosing the right school is a big decision especially when your child experiences the world differently. At our school, we work closely with families and local authorities to make sure our setting is the right fit for each young person. Using tailored care and support, we shape your child’s life helping them grow into the person you know they’ll become.

Admissions criteria

  • Young person has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or undergoing assessment
  • Aged 7-16
  • Have SEMH needs and co-occurring difficulties

Our admissions procedure

Step 1: Referral review

Your local authority will consult with us to see if we’re a suitable match for your child. Our team will then review relevant paperwork and reports.

Step 2: Initial meeting

If we feel we can offer the right support, we will invite parents/carers and professionals to a meeting.

Step 3: School visit

If we think we can offer the right support, we will the young person, parents/carers and professionals to visit our school.

Step 4: Placement panel review

Following the school visit, our panel will meet to make a decision. If a placement is appropriate, we will make a formal offer.

Step 5: Placement decision

If a placement is appropriate, we contact your local authority they make the final decision and confirm the placement.
