Working Towards the Wellbeing Award

Clay Hill School is proud to announce that we are beginning our journey towards achieving the Wellbeing Award for Schools.

Why wellbeing matters: At Clay Hill, we believe that the wellbeing of pupils, parents, and staff is the foundation for a happy, successful school community. When everyone feels supported and valued, children can learn and grow in a positive environment, and families feel confident and connected.

What is the Wellbeing Award?
The Wellbeing Award for Schools is a nationally recognised accreditation that celebrates schools committed to promoting emotional wellbeing and mental health. It focuses on creating a culture where wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do—through policies, practices, and partnerships with families.

We are also delighted to share that two parents—one from our primary provision and one from secondary—have kindly volunteered to become Wellbeing Ambassadors for parents and carers. Their role will help strengthen communication and provide additional support for our school community.
