Life at Eastwood Grange School for Parents & Carers

We know that when a child joins our school, their whole family is part of the journey. That’s why we keep communication open, expectations clear and support consistent so you always feel informed and involved.

Below, you’ll find practical information about day-to-day life at Eastwood Grange School.

Our school day is structured to support focus, balance and wellbeing:
• Monday to Friday: 9am – 2:30pm
• 30-minute lunch break
• A rest break in the afternoon
These hours help young people manage their energy, build routine and still have time to rest or reflect at the end of the day.

We don’t have a formal school uniform. Instead, young people are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing that suits their needs and is practical enough to take part in all of our fun activities.

We’ve learned that this flexible approach helps reduce anxiety and allows them to express themselves while feeling safe and ready to learn.

We provide lunches, snacks and drinks each day, and we also provide a breakfast club facility.

We want to work in partnership with you. You’ll receive regular updates about your child’s progress and wellbeing and we encourage you to talk to us whenever you need to check in.

As parents we feel lucky that our son has been given the opportunities to grow and learn within the safe and trusted environment Eastwood Grange School provides. The staff team understand his needs, focus on his positive attributes and support him to overcome the challenges he faces daily, which has improved his emotional wellbeing significantly.
