We take a personalised approach to education

At Hurworth House School, we combine therapeutic support with ambitious learning tailored to each young person’s unique strengths. We shape our approach using our 3C Cog Cycle – Creatively Coaching Character.

We know the right team makes a world of difference. Our skilled team are key in everything we do—from academic development to emotional wellbeing.

Supporting every step with a personalised curriculum

Many of our young people arrive having faced disrupted education, anxiety or past school trauma. That’s why we offer small, supportive class settings and an adaptable curriculum that rewards and encourages progress.

Our curriculum follows both formal and semi-formal pathways. Lessons are grouped by age, ability and social dynamics to create the right learning environment. Our six learning pathways—from Grow to Mission Evolve ensure that every young person is on the right track.

We want our young people to be fully engaged in their studies, so we offer subjects and courses that match their interests.
