Life at Newbury Manor School for Parents & Carers

We know that when a child joins our school, their whole family is part of the journey. That’s why we keep communication open, expectations clear and support consistent so you always feel informed and involved.

Below, you’ll find practical information about day-to-day life at Newbury Manor School.

Our in-house catering team prepare a wide variety of meals for our young people to choose from daily.

We do not have a school uniform. Young people are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing that suits their needs and is practical enough to take part in all of our fun activities.

We’ve learned that this flexible approach helps reduce anxiety and allows them to express themselves while feeling safe and ready to learn.

We want to work in partnership with you. You’ll receive regular updates about your child’s progress and wellbeing and we encourage you to talk to us whenever you need to check in.

Family life has been transformed! My son now enjoys coming to school and it's still a novelty for me to see him practically skipping down the garden path each morning to the waiting taxi. Gone are the days at his old school when we couldn't even get him out of bed each day, let alone get him through the school doors!”
