Progress School is a small, highly specialist school based in Clayton Brook near Preston. We are an independent special day school which supports up to 14 young people aged 7-19 with complex presentations of autism.
Many of our students have not been in education for several years and our bespoke transition, curriculum and therapeutic offer supports them to access our school.
Located in Clayton Brook, Preston, Progress School has excellent transport links and easy access to the M6, M61 and M65 motorways making the school well-connected to a number of nearby towns and cities. This enables our students to learn and thrive in a range of community settings and to generalise skills learned in the school environment.
Progress School provides a truly bespoke experience for the pupils and their families, working with them to provide support beyond the school gates.
Our child centred approach begins with their transition and continues throughout the student’s time with us. The staff team are flexible in their approach and that helps young people flourish at our school.
