A Big Thank You!
We would like to say thank you and good luck to Zarah, a psychology student from Strathclyde University. We hope that she has enjoyed spending time with us all during her work placement at Radio City School and we all wish her well in her future.
School News
Marco, our music instructor has been busy exploring after school community opportunities for pupils who are interested in further developing their instrumental and vocal skills and love for music. So far one of the options is to join a rock band for 12-25yrs for a 20-week programme and the other is to secure 5 free 1-1 lessons with a music teacher to work on the area of music the pupil is most interested in. If you would like more information about these music options, please get in touch.
Upcoming School Events
In the bulletin last week we talked about World Book Day, on Thursday 5th March, highlighting it as a key event for us all. At school we will be participating in a range of activities and competitions throughout the day such as attending a Virtual School Visit with kids and teens author, Nathanael Lessore. All pupils will receive a book token from the sponsor of World Book Day, National Book Trust and it would be helpful if you could check out this link with the free books and have a discussion with your child ahead of the event.

Aspris Awards Nominations
The Aspris Awards is our annual colleague recognition scheme, and you will shortly receive a letter to share how you can nominate us at Radio City School for the Be Your Best category.
The Be Your Best category is so pupils, parents/carers and others who work with us can nominate individuals or teams who go above and beyond to support young people to achieve their potential.
If you have an example of how a colleague or a team has helped a young person shine, you can nominate them for the Be Your Best Award.
Receiving a nomination means the world to our colleagues, and finalists of this award will be celebrated at an awards event in November, where the winner will be revealed.
Please look out for your information letter which will be sent to your email.
Please contact me if you wish to discuss any aspect of this bulletin or any other school matter. M: 07775425401 E: louisecoleman@aspriscs.co.uk

Best Wishes,
Louise Coleman,
Head Teacher
