A broad and balanced curriculum
At Radio City School, we offer a tailored, therapeutic curriculum designed to meet the individual learning needs of our young people. We combine academic learning with practical skills, emotional support and personal development—helping every pupil grow in confidence and discover their strengths.
Our curriculum is broad and balanced, with opportunities for vocational learning. We get to know and understand every young person, identifying their strengths, social, emotional and learning needs, preferences and goals for the future. We then put together bespoke learning pathways and enhanced curricula to maximise their engagement and attainment. Each pupil has their own team around them and we work in partnership with pupils and those who support them.
Young people at Radio City School have the opportunity to study for a wide range of qualifications. Many young people are also supported to access college courses or undertake voluntary work in the local community, as steps towards achieving their ambitions.
We strive for the highest professional standards, ensuring that our homes and schools not only meet but exceed the expectations of Care Inspectorate Scotland (CIS) and Education Scotland. We’re committed to continually improving and refining our services ensuring every child benefits from the best possible care and education.
