We take a personalised approach to education

Our curriculum

Sedgemoor Manor School provides a challenging, relevant and enjoyable curriculum. This is designed to meet the needs of each young person, both academically and socially, within the framework of the National Curriculum. Our students are generally working at, or around age related expectations with some gaps in their knowledge and skills that we work towards closing.

Our curriculum is focused on gaining skills based on students’ individual learning needs. This will be a combination of academic progress, personal skills and the readiness for future living. Our young people also have the opportunity to take part in daily reading, mindfulness and reflection.

Our therapy and support services

We believe that tailored access to therapeutic support plays a vital role in helping young people engage meaningfully with their learning. As a therapy-led provision, therapeutic practice is embedded throughout the entire school day. Our approach integrates therapy and education seamlessly, ensuring that every aspect of the school experience supports each young person’s development.
