What makes Sheridan School unique?

What sets us apart is our commitment to combining therapeutic care with personalised education. Every aspect of the school from classroom routines to enrichment activities is shaped by our understanding of how children learn best when they feel safe, supported and valued. We see the potential in every student and work together to build brighter futures.

As a trauma- informed setting we have adopted the Thrive framework to help improve the mental health and wellbeing of our young people. It is the golden thread that underpins the relationships we build, as well as the curriculum and opportunities we provide. This approach enables us to better understand the needs of pupils, providing targeted, effective support that allows our young people to flourish and learn.
