Who we support
Sketchley School is an independent day school for young people aged 7-19 with autism and associated conditions.
We provide personalised education in a calm, nurturing environment across 3 sites, helping each pupil grow in confidence, rediscover their love of learning, and realise their full potential.
We put our young people at the heart of everything that we do, and communicate with parents and carers regularly, to help them achieve the best possible outcomes and future success.
At Sketchley our vision and values reflect high expectations and aspirations for our students and staff.
Vision – Sketchley students are remarkable students with unique abilities. Our school mission Nurturing Minds – Shaping Futures, aims for all students to develop their skills, knowledge and cultural capital so that they have the emotional maturity and confidence to become valuable and functional members of their community.
Ethos – The ethos of our school centers on unconditional positive regard, creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every student is esteemed. We ensure all students have access to opportunities through personalized learning that adapts teaching to individual needs. With appropriate support, we empower all to reach their potential, fostering both academic success and personal growth in a nurturing, respectful atmosphere.
