Life at North Hill House School for Parents & Carers

We know that when a child joins our school, their whole family is part of the journey. That’s why we keep communication open, expectations clear and support consistent so you always feel informed and involved.

Below, you’ll find practical information about day-to-day life at North Hill House School.

Monday to Friday: 9am - 3pm

We don't require our pupils to wear a uniform as we understand a lot of our young people have specific sensory needs.

We provide free school lunches prepared by our on-site catering team.

We recognise the importance of maintaining good relationships between the school and parents/carers, and we use a range of different methods to keep you up to date with you child's progress.

In the same way that we provide bespoke learning programmes to our young people, we also tailor communication to parents/carers individual needs. All our young people have their own pastoral tutor who will develop close links with parents and will review what type of contact works best for them.

North Hill House is a brilliant school and we couldn’t have picked better. The education side is faultless and they are getting the best out of my son.
