We know how important it is to be prompt, be clear and work in partnership with our referring local authorities and families to find a home that is right for the young person. We have a dedicated team of experienced colleagues who lead on responding to requests for a residential home.
When we receive a referral for a children’s home, our experienced colleagues will screen and assess to understand if the home is able to meet the needs of the young person. Following the initial assessment, if the Registered Manager is confident that the home is suitable for their needs, we will move to a formal assessment. This ensures that the young person can receive the right support at the right time, maximising the potential for stability.
