At Rossendale School, we encourage healthy eating and a healthy balanced diet. Lunch is provided for all pupils with a range of daily options including a hot meal , sandwich choices and baked potatoes.

Rossendale School prides itself on building close relationships with parents and carers. We hold annual parents’ evenings, regular meetings and annual reviews, which give parents and carers a chance to visit the school, meet with staff and discuss their child’s progress. We also use these meetings as an opportunity to celebrate our young people’s achievements.

We take a pro-active and personalised approach to keeping parents and carers up to date. On admission, we agree the best method of communication for them.

After failed placements within mainstream schools, all staff at Rossendale School support my son to flourish and focus on him trying to achieve. They celebrate what he can do and the support is outstanding.
