Life at Roehampton School for Parents & Carers

We know that when a child joins our school, their whole family is part of the journey. That’s why we keep communication open, expectations clear and support consistent so you always feel informed and involved.

Below, you’ll find practical information about day-to-day life at Roehampton Gate School.

Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Our school has a soft uniform.

Lunches are prepared daily on-site and our young people have a varied menu to choose from which alternates weekly. Menus available for download below.

At RGS, the form tutors communicate weekly via email with parents/carers to provide a summary of each week.

The weekly summary covers the following areas:

• Biggest positive of the week,
• Academics
• Behaviour,
• Social and Area for growth.

In order to ensure that we are capturing a holistic approach to support every student individually we support all families through the annual review process but in addition to this we invite parents into school 3 times a year (termly) to go through every child's risk assessment, behaviour support plan, and pupil passport.

Academically, parents/ carers also receive two data reports throughout the year and one written report. The written report forms part of the annual review process and the data reports provide an overview of each subject, their target grade and learning in classroom (rag rated)

A huge thank you to all of the teachers and staff at Roehampton Gate School who have supported my son through his GCSEs, and helped him achieve his potential. He is over the moon with his results and is soon to start sixth form college.
