We know that when a child joins our school, their whole family is part of the journey. That’s why we keep communication open, expectations clear and support consistent so you always feel informed and involved.
Below, you’ll find practical information about day-to-day life at Tadley Court School.
Monday to Thursday: 9am - 3pm
Friday: 9am - 1pm
We do have a school uniform but this is not compulsory. Young people are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing that suits their needs and is practical enough to take part in all of our fun activities.
General communication:
- Parents/carers will be contacted daily on Dojo by the class teacher/class lead to give an outline of the day.
- The administration team will contact parents/carers to arrange meetings and for general communication.
Accident / Illness:
- Parents/carers will receive a phone call home for any head injury.
- If your child becomes unwell at school parents/carers will receive a phone call home to make a plan together.
- Parents/carers will receive a phone call to explain any accident that has taken place at school.
- Parents/carers will receive a follow up email after the verbal contact.
- Parents will receive a phone call to obtain permission before staff will administer medication.
Behaviour:
- Parents/carers will be contacted by telephone to explain any behaviour incidents that have taken place during the school day.
- Parents/carers will receive a follow up email after the verbal contact.
- Homeschool Communication on Class Dojo:
Class Dojo is an educational technology tool / app that facilitates communication between teachers and families. Parents will get a daily update of their child’s day, and we will also send out notifications of whole school important dates via the app. We welcome and encourage families to use the platform to communicate with the class teacher to let them know of anything of interest or that may help us support their child whilst at school. You will receive an invitation to your specific class page.

The school produces termly reports to parents relating to pupil's progress and attainment in the main areas covered at Tadley Court. A full annual report is also produced yearly for each child.
My son is doing amazing and his confidence has increased so much. We have seen an improvement in his language and speaking. His reading has come along really well too, he now reads at home.
