Governance
Although many of our learners travel to school from England, we are a Welsh school and are therefore legally required to follow Welsh Government legislation, policies, and practices. This means that English Department for Education (DfE) guidance and legislation do not apply in Wales. In particular, we operate in line with the Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act 2018 and the ALN Code for Wales, rather than the English SEND Code of Practice or the Children and Families Act 2014.
